What I Believe

I think good product work starts with staying close to the craft. Building things yourself, even small things, keeps you sharp and grounded.

I've spent 14 years building products at Capital One and CarMax. I've been lucky to work with really talented teams and learn how to ship at scale. The biggest takeaway for me is that you understand your team better when you build things yourself.

That's why I ship my own apps. SwingFeed is live on the App Store right now. Building it has taught me a ton about prioritization, technical tradeoffs, and what it actually takes to ship. It makes me a better teammate.

01

Shipping beats planning

A launched MVP teaches you more than a perfect PRD ever could.

02

Craft matters at every level

Staying hands-on helps me understand what my team goes through and makes us work better together.

03

Simple solutions win

Complexity is easy. Simplicity takes discipline.
